How to Remove a Security Restriction in Adobe Acrobat Writer

Security restrictions set in Acrobat Acrobat writer can mean the difference between your company data staying safe and being exploited at the hands of a malicious competitor. Removing security for internal communication, though, streamlines the document management process. If you are confident a document won't go outside your company, disable security with just a few clicks.

Instructions

    • 1
      Open the Acrobat document.
    • 2
      Open the "File" menu.
    • 3
      Select "Properties" and then "Security."
    • 4
Select "No Security" from the Security Pop-up menu.
    • 5
Click "OK" to confirm security removal and remove the passwords.
    • 6
      Close the dialog box.

Tips & Warnings

  • Adobe may occasionally send you automatic updates. Install these promptly.
