Adobe Releases Mobile PDF Reader For iOS and Android

Heya!!
After six months Adobe released its PDF reader app for iOS and Android devices. Adobe now seems to be going full throttle, and released a significant update to version 10.2 of Adobe Reader for both Android and iOS. The recent version of Adobe Reader also includes a nifty feature for writing and placing signatures in PDF documents.

The universal cross-platform desktop version of Adobe Reader has been an industry standard for quite some time, but with the mobile version Adobe has basically been playing catch-up until now. Much of the user interface is pretty intuitive, allowing you three different ways to “turn pages,” and making most of the annotation tools available by pressing down and dragging over selected text, as well as accessing them in menu bar of the app. The Reader also includes a document search feature.

What is Adobe Reader X for mobile devices?

The free Adobe® Reader® X mobile app lets you easily view and work with PDF files on Android™ and iOS devices, including iPad and iPhone.

Adobe reader has following updates:
  • Easily mark up PDF content with sticky notes, the freehand drawing tool or the highlight, strikethrough, and underline tools
  • Add comments anywhere in your PDF file with sticky notes
  • Fill out PDF forms
  • Use the new Ink Signature tool to sign any PDF document using your finger
  • Send PDF files to others for electronic signing using Adobe EchoSign

If you haven’t tried out Adobe Reader since the days when it was one of the slower PDF readers on the market, or you just need a good eSignature system for your business, check out the source links below.
